Something About Me

2013-12-20 09.00.10 Goddess
Born in Nurnberg, West Germany, but a native New Orleanian. A mother of 4 and a friend to many.
I have been betrayed, battered, and beaten down in countless ways, but I have not lost my desire or even expectation for genuine love despite self-servers, contentment in the midst of an upside world, or the gift of the kind of life that makes every past lonely day worthwhile. I only want to share my experiences, past and present, to show that beauty can be born out of tragedy.
I write because I have to not because I can. I love because I want to not because I need to. I dream, hope, and seek because I dare to.

  5. I thoroughly enjoy your writing, I have come across many writers in my time and rarely have come across such unbound and vivid expression. Even when I was in college I found many writers struggling to express themselves, bound by their own thoughts or a fear of judgement but you do the important things with poetry easily, your poetry is filled with rich substance. I hope we always have poets such as yourself in the world, cheers and have a good day my friend. =)

    • Oh my…I do believe I will smile all day as I think over your kind assessment of what I do. Poetry is the place where I never fear judgement. It’s the only place where I can tell it all, leave it, and go on to the next emotion. It is where I truly live, so I cannot hold back anything. Thank you for taking the time to read me and comment. 🙂
